A BRIEF HISTORY
IVSA Alfort is the Parisian chapter of the International Veterinary Students' Association. Founded in 2010 on our student campus, the association's goal is to promote exchanges with veterinary students from all over the world and to create new and strong friendships.
We also promote IVSA's values by gathering all the potential and involvement of each student of the school to facilitate a global access to veterinary skills and knowledge for the sake of humans and other animal species. To learn more about IVSA's values and actions, visit their official website on http://www.ivsa.org.
To increase our initiative of sharing and gathering, IVSA Alfort joined the chapters of Lyon, Nantes and Toulouse to found IVSA France in 2017. Visit our official website on https://ivsa-france.wixsite.com/ivsa-france.
OUR SCHOOL
The veterinary school of Alfort (EnvA) was founded in 1766 and is the oldest French veterinary school remaining on its original site, near Paris. The school trains roughly 700 students (divided on 5 years) to fundamental and clinical medicine of domestic animals. The school also hosts a university hospital (called Chuva) and many research centres.
To learn more about the school, visit their official website on http://www.vet-alfort.fr.
